Dr. Eric Rouah & Associates

The origins of 5000 Yonge Dental can be traced back to Dr. Eric Rouah, the founder of the practice. Before he went on and became one of the best dentists in the Toronto & North York area, Eric Rouah was a student at the University of Toronto where he completed his Bachelor Degree. The year was 1992. That’s when he chose to relocate in order to further his training, first to Boston – to finish his doctorate –, then to Pittsburgh’s Allegheny General Hospital – to serve as an intern at the trauma center. Wherever he went, he left a deep impression as one of the most promising students. And his efforts paid off, when he graduated summa cum laude from the renowned Tufts School of Dental Medicine. After that five year stint, Eric Rouah, now a licensed doctor, returned to Toronto. That didn’t mean he would stop his education though as, for the years that would follow, he would continue to polish his skills and earn an impressive number of certifications from several clinical programs. The reason he would do this is to stay true to his original intent to exceed his patients every expectation. It’s with the same goal in mind that he started his dental practice at 5000 Yonge Street, more than 10 years ago. And it’s for that same purpose again that he surrounded himself with only the most qualified professionals (from a Practice Manager to Dental Assistants and Hygienists) that would allow him – and late comer Dr. Zhu – to offer a huge array of dental procedures, comprising dental implants but also teeth whitening and reconstruction. From the way his office was designed to his special treating of the patients, Dr. Eric Rouah & Associates has made a point of making sure that his patients would feel relaxed and comfortable. And, with time, he would come to be known as the “Gentle Doctor”, a nickname he still holds to this day.
