By Nicolas from Calgary(3 of 3 customers found this review helpful)Questionable professionalismWhile I have never dealt with Sims Overhead Door Ltd professionally, I had an encounter with one of their employees that left a lasting impression on me and offered some insight on how they might deal with people. I was driving behind one of their pickup trucks along a narrow road outside of Coco Brooks in the Foothills Industrial area in Calgary. He suddenly stopped without warning just short of the parking lot. I waited a couple of seconds before starting to go around him. The drivers door suddenly swung open and he jumped out right in front of me. I hit the brakes narrowly avoiding hitting him. I said to him that that is probably not the best place to park to which he promptly and loudly exclaimed "F*** You!" There was an empty parking spot less than twenty feet directly in front of where he stopped. He wouldn't even have had to turn his steering wheel, just kept going straight and he would have been out of every ones way and avoided nearly getting run over. This shows me that he is extremely lazy. The fact that he jumps out into oncoming traffic from a truck with his company's logo and phone number clearly emblazoned on the side and yells profanities at the top of his lungs shows me he is somewhat dim-witted and has zero social skills. His name "Dan" was even written on the fender near his door. This may not have any bearing on their professional ability but I would not trust them to fix a doggie door.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
