Sold the business to a wonderful couple; they did major (and I mean major!) renovations. The store is beautiful now. When they opened, they made an effort to reduce costs but over time those costs have gone up - too far up in my opinion. They've become almost as greedy as the last owner. One large pack of Lay's chips is overpriced - a store clerk will charge four ninety nine plus 15 per cent tax but the owner during daytime will charge four twenty nine - go to Provigo and get it for almost half that price. For convenience (because this is a convenience store), the reality is you pay more. The owner should think about reducing costs to something more reasonable since IGA and Provigo are both within minutes away. That being said, the store after a few yrs of new ownership is still in wonderful condition. Bright, clean, beautiful. Congratulations to the new owners for turning an ugly dirty dump into a beautiful establishment. The store owner needs to lower costs. Yes, I keep repeating myself, but it's true. He'd have more business, from me at least, if he did it. one seventy five plus fifteen per cent tax for a chocolate bar ? I can go to IGA and get two chocolate bars for the same price. Beer ? A large bottle of Heineken for five sixty ? Too expensive. The owners and staff are very friendly. The previous owner would snarl at me. Huge difference. Overall, I give this store 4 stars ; if the prices were better I'd give 5. Don't be shy about popping in, they have a nice variety of products, not limited to simply beer wine junk food and soft drinks like too many depanneurs. I hope the owners do well, and they stay here for a very long time.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend-
