The way they operate is absolutely atrocious. Some reasons: - they won't tell you the package prices upfront, and it's not provided on their website. They'll charge for a sitting fee for grad photos, and you won't know the ridiculous prices for the photos until after the shoot. - their print quality is terrible. Colours are washed out, resolution is blurry. I've had better quality images come out from chain print stores like WalMart, which will charge ~25% of what Lassman will charge for the same thing - even in 2013 nearing 2014, they ask for $400 for a set of digital images, even after buying a package worth $150. That's inexcusable in this day and age. You can probably buy a digital camera, suit, tie, robe, and grad hat for $400 and reproduce better quality work than what these guys provide. - my high school photos from 2006 were finished with ultra coat, which I paid $45 per image to protect. In the year 2013, the picture hung indoors away from sunlight is losing colour around the edges. Abysmal quality printing charged at a premium price - I felt rushed during the entire shooting process, which lasted 1 minute 40 seconds at most. I found only 2 out of 10 poses passable. I don't know how this company managed to nestle its way into many major educational institutions. Their billing is so expensive that it's unethical. The quality of their products is easily bested by any other print store. The customer service is rude and unprofessional. Lassman Studios: the thought of how bad your company is is more memorable than my actual grad photos themselves.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
