Livestock farming is the rearing of animals for food and for other human uses. The word 'Livestock' applies primarily to cattle or dairy cows, chickens, goats, pigs, horses and sheep. At The Barn we keep all our animals clean, comfortable, properly fed and watered. This reduces the risk of disease. Sourcing the right feed and establishing appropriate systems for storing and dispensing it save guards our stock against diseases. Many animals will need regular health care, from vaccinations to deworming to hoof trimming. Having our livestock in optimal health is our number one priority.
