Dr Issam Saliba

Dr Saliba is a Clinical Professor in the department of surgery and director of research at the otorhinolaryngology division of the University of Montreal. He has been the medical director of the Polyclinique Centre-Ville since 2013. With hard work, dedication medical degree from the Lebanese University in 1996 and finished his otorhinolaryngology training at the University of Montreal in 2001. His major interests for pathologies of the ears, dizziness and skull base tumors have led him to complete two years of fellowship in Montreal and at Paul Sabatier University - Toulouse III in France to eventually join the ENT services of the CHUM, Maisonneuve-Rosemont and Sainte-Justine university hospitals. In addition to his clinical work, his disciplinary standards and his interest in research is crucial, his decision to research deeply and his convictions to research deeper has led him to develop two new surgical techniques: one for tympanic membrane perforation with limited penalty to hearing and another for the treatment of Meniere's disease where patient’s complaint are dizziness and vertigo.
