Spring is in the air as the oil patch shows some signs of life with increased drilling activity and higher commodity prices which the Edmonton market relies on so heavily. With continued government stimulus through North America, it seems as if business is looking past COVID-19 as vaccines roll out and the world slowly opens up. Small bay market activity continues to rebound on the back of local owner-operators emerging from the uncertainty and lockdowns of 2020. Demand for larger warehousing/distribution space continues with a number of large (100,000 SF) transaction occurring through 2021.
