Waskesiu

The Waskesiu and Area Wilderness Region is a not for profit organization, established in 2010. The organization is overseen by a Board of Directors and staff. Members of the Board are local tourism operators who volunteer and invest their time to create marketing initiatives that promote visitation to the Big River, Lakeland, Elk Ridge Resort and Prince Albert National Park areas. Their current promotion “Unforgettable North” encourages visitors to escape the city life and visit the North where you can experience all there is to do in the natural setting of the Boreal Forest.
