    I came in late for 10 min and then i was waiting in the line to register they told no you came in late you have to pay a 60$ otherwise the doctor won't see you Worst clinc ever

    Good Doctors, Horrible Secretaries
    The secretaries are horrific. Rude. Unhelpful. The doctors are good but seem to have no control over the amount of abuse taken by patients by the people behind the desks, its crazy...I dont understand how this can be allowed to go on. Not only have I had bad experiences in dealing with them, I've witnessed dealings between them and other patients that are just unacceptable.

    Reception
    Dre Moreau ,ma docteure depuis longtemps est excellente, prend le temps nécessaire et n'est jamais en retard!PAr contre j'ai eu de nombreux accrochages à la réception. Un jour, du à la circulation, je suis arrivée maximum 2 minutes en retard,donc de ma faute. Je me présente donc tout de suite au comptoir et essayais d'avoir l'attention des réceptionnistes qui jasaient calmement entre elles et ne regardaient jamais le kioske de réception. J'ai vu ma docteure marcher vers ses dossiers et n'ai jamais pu avoir l'attention de personne avant 10 minutes,malgré mes :Excusez-moi... J'ai expliqué mon cas le plus poliment possible ,demandé d'aviser la doc qui a refusé de me voir. J'ai dû aller attendre à la clinique sans rendez-vous,voir une autre doc qui refusais de me prescrire mon médicament Oxycontin,j'ai dû me chicaner,presque en larmes ,pendant 2 heures avant qu'on apporte finalement mon dossier pour prouver que je le prends depuis des années, et qu'une autre doc me prescrive mon médicament pour un mois.À noter que sans le médicament ma douleur est insupportable et il y a aussi des effets secondaires dangereux si on a pas sa dose,malheureusement.Tout ce trouble aurait pu être évité si le personnel avait été à leur poste et se bougeait un peu le derrière au lieu de jaser. J'ai donc été en retard 10 minutes plutôt que 2, ce qui à mon avis aurait dû être excusé et compréhensible! En plus,lors de ma prochaine visite,ma doc m'a avisé qu'un autre retard,(Mon premier!) et elle ne me garderais plus comme patiente! Beaucoup de stress!

    Rude receptionist, will take legal action for verbal abuse
    On October 1st I went to make an appointment with Dr. Reinblatt and I was told that I'd be getting a call within a week. Today, 20 days later and still no call back, my husband and I went back to the OBGYN clinic to see why I haven't received a call. When we arrived the receptionist was playing games on her phone (the office was empty; no patients were waiting to be seen), so when we approached the desk I politely said hello I need to make an appointment she looked up at us and in a hostile and annoyed voice said "what do you want?" I then repeated myself and handed her my referral. She then said "well do you at least have a Medicare card?" I handed it to her, and with a frustrated look on her face she grabbed it tossed it on the desk and the repeatedly over and over again kept telling me that the referral I gave her wasn't a referral, which it clearly was because my family doctor on another floor wrote it, and that the tests described on the referral weren't preformed by an OBGYN. I then asked her why she was being hostile towards me and she replied by tossing the referral and Medicare card at me and said "because on a daily basis I have to deal with idiots like you who can't even conceive a child like normal people". I'm not an expert on this subject but I always thought that when a woman is having trouble conceiving, which is a VERY sensitive subject, doctors and especially their receptionists are suppose to be understanding and/or kind. My husband and I will be pursuing legal recourses.

    Good doctors but the reception is rude and unprofessional -- when you get through!
    My OBGYN is a lovely woman who gives the patient full attention and care. It is unfortunate then that i must give this clinic one star because I have had so much trouble with the receptionists. I live about 30 minutes away from Brunswick and have to drive in to make appointments because they rarely answer the phones. On more than one occasion I have seen the receptionists eating at their desks. They tend to talk to each other instead of the clients. I have spent countless minutes on hold on their phone line, unable to get anyone to answer. One incident: I had to travel outside of Canada and needed to call and cancel an upcoming appointment but I couldn't get through. I tried for days and days and eventually I wasn't able to cancel it so I called back to cancel another (specialist) appointment and was BERATED by the receptionist who told me they were waiving a fee because I didn't cancel the previous appt. She then went on to tell me all about the doctor's time and other patients and how horrible and irresponsible I am (even though DUH I was obviously calling to CANCEL an appointment a couple of weeks in advance). I also said I was not inside Canada and she said to me, "That's no excuse." REALLY? That's "no excuse"? Am I supposed to fly in and walk up to your desk just to cancel because you have no time management skills and can't afford to man your phones properly? Or at least have a service to take messages? I was furious to say the least considering how many times I had to drive into Pointe Claire because they couldn't answer a simple phone. Seeing the other reviews, I know I'm not alone. I have been trying for the past few days to cancel another appointment and can't get through. I'm about to try and cancel on their Facebook because I can find no other way to contact them. In the digital age, there is "no excuse" for your business to leaves phones unanswered. I don't care if you think "healthcare is free" -- it's not. We pay $200 a head in Quebec + taxes for it.

    English vs. French?
    So, after 44 minutes on hold (now up to 11 callers ahead of me when there were 8 when I first called) I decided to try calling on a different phone and pressing '1' for French. That message said there was a 1 minute wait. Five 1/2 minutes later it's obviously not true, but a far cry from the English message. Waiting....waiting....waiting..... A HUMAN!! Six minutes on hold to speak to a person after pressing '1' for French. FIFTY MINUTES after pressing '2' for English - and supposedly 4 people ahead of me. Disgraceful.

    Make sure your phone is charged
    I called at 9:01 (after giving up yesterday afternoon) to make an appointment with my gynecologist. I have been on hold for the last 34 minutes. When I called, the robot said that there were 8 callers ahead of me and the wait would be approximately 8 minutes. Since then, the message has come on to tell me there are 10 callers ahead of me, 6 callers ahead of me, 9 callers ahead of me, 8 callers ahead of me, and now 6. Something stinks with their phone system, and if I didn't need an appointment I'd have hung up 20 minutes ago. Terrible, terrible customer service. I hope it's better if I ever get to speak to a human (maybe by lunchtime). Oh wait! now we've gone back to 8 callers ahead of me. Just because we need them more than we need us, it doesn't give license to treat patients/clients as if their time isn't important. Get efficient, Brunswick. My time is valuable, too. Update! Now there are 10 callers are ahead of me. What abyss have I fallen into? (and 38 minute wait and still counting). Good thing profanity isn't allowed on this site, because I have choice words for Brunswick.

    WORST EVER RECEPTIONIST
    In Jan 18, 2013 I went to the clinic to have a doctor check on my stitches for surgery which was done a few days before. I walked in the clinic and told the receptionist that I did not live in the area and therefor did not have a file there. She said no problem, by the way did I mention she was talking with her two friends for about 10 minutes before she decided to speak to me. I gave her my information for my file and when I gave her my address her response was "Oh you are from Laval " I asked again if this was a problem , not sure but maybe she has something about people from Laval. Are we from the wrong side of the tracks ? She then asked me if I had a cough of fever. This question after I told her why I was there. I then repeated myself only to be told that there is a charge for this. This caught me off guard, so I informed her that I would not be staying, but curiosity had me so I ask how much it would cost. HER RESPONSE " $25 , $30 maybe $40.00 . I asked her if the cost of the check up was up for auction. Guess she did not like this response because then and I quote again " YOU CAN GO TO THE CLSC WHERE THEY TREAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU " If you can tell me what she meant by this, pleae write a comment. May a long story short, maybe the people who run the centre should read this and hire someone who is at least part human.

    Worst receptionist ever
    I agree with Lynne. I had to deal with the same receptioning when making an appointment for Dr. Saxon (he's very good by the way - OB/GYN). I've been calling since the begining of December, I left 4 messages but she never called back. Last week (January 8th) I managed to speak to her. She said she would call me back but didn't. Today I managed to get a hold of her again. She doesn't listen to you and isn't helpful at all. Told me to go to the 'hospital' if I wanted to see a doctor sooner.

    Excellent OBGYN, worst receptionist EVER
    Dr. Biem is a very good doctor - I really like her and would recommend her, but it's almost not worth it thanks to her incompetent reception staff. I'm considering looking for a different OBGYN just so I don't have to ever speak to the reception staff ever again, and I'm not usually one for slander. This receptionist was horrifically unprofessional and, well, dumb.
