Torino Opened As A Pizzeria In Tecumseh Town In 1971 Serving Pizza, Pasta, Chicken, Ribs, Hamburgers And Sandwiches For Pick-Up And Delivery. Gerry Deluca Founded The Business As Chef And Owner In Partnership With His Brother-In-Law Philip Coppola. Seeking To Provide A More Formal Dining Experience, The Pizzeria Was Moved Across The Street In 1982 Where It Expanded It'S Services To Include A Full-Service Dining Room With An Extensive Menu Including A Variety Of Pasta, Veal And Seafood Dishes. A Fast Growing Catering Service Developed And To Keep Pace With The Growing Demand, A 400 Capacity Banquet Hall Was Built And Opened In 1989. The Dining Room Was Later Extended To Include A Beautiful Solarium For Private Parties.
