Internet Retailer Magazine ranked Cymax within the Top 200 e-tailers in the world in 2011. Our History Cymax was founded in 2004 by Arash Fasihi as a small audio-video furniture web site. After fruitlessly searching for a high end TV stand in local stores, Fasihi recognized a gap in the market. He decided to fill this gap by providing a wide selection of audio-video furniture online. Focusing primarily on TV stands, the very first Cymax site was born called Audio-Video-Furniture.com. Cymax has since grown exponentially, to become the market leader it is today. In 2010, Arash was nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Pacific Region, Business to Consumer Category.
