    Hanover Holidays has been in business 41 years and we always do what ever we can to listen to and solve any concerns from our customers. I did my best to listen and tried to understand to Sue's concerns about her specialized food requirements but as I tried to address her concerns she continually interrupted me and would not allow me to provide an answer. I decided the best course of action was to listen until she gave me a chance to reply...that is when she presumed I hung up, and she herself ended the phone call. I tried to reach out to her but she refused to be in contact verbal or written. Her only demand was that I promise to quit using any restaurant that doesn't serve "appropriate" Gluten free meals, which I found to be an overreaction to her situation. We have created new policies and conducted new staff training in an attempt to better address the specialized food needs of certain clients, since the tour Sue was on returned home. It is our sincere hope to be able to meet all clients future needs even if they are specialized!

    I recently took a bus tour with Hanover Holidays. I have no complaints about the tour director or the bus driver. Both were friendly and courteous. But, beware! If you are disappointed or upset about anything regarding the trip, don't expect the owner to take responsibility, offer any compensation or even apologize for it. When I called to report an issue I had with the trip not providing me with what I had paid for, Jim was rude, unapologetic, and offered no empathy for the frustration and poor conditions that I experienced on this trip. Given the chance to rectify the situation and improve my impression of his business, Hanover Holidays, Jim chose instead to give excuses, shift the blame, shout at me, and then actually hang up on me!! Customer service is everything. It's a shame that this company cares so little about a traveller's experience on their tours. I will NEVER travel with Hanover Holidays again. And, when asked by others about my experience, I will be sure to share my honest opinion.
