Women on the Move was founded by Heather Gamble to give women the tools, sales training, support and education that they need to close the economic gap between where they are and where they want to be. Never in history, has there been more women in the work force. Never before have there been more women entrepreneurs. Women are choosing an entrepreneurial path to better suit their lifestyles as mothers and caregivers. Bright and talented women with passion and purpose. Well educated and ambitious they step into the world of business with enthusiasm and innovative ideas that often never quite get off the ground. Women often pursue a business that is created out of a personal need or passion. Translated this means that they are frequently coming to the table without a business background and/or experience in the world of sales and marketing. Many are not equipped with a network of well connected business associates for support and encouragement.Women on the Move was created to change this. Prior to its creation the support options for women entrepreneurs were largely networking groups and online courses. Most people will agree that the support and encouragement of a like-minded community will help you fly further, faster.
