By deanne from new glasgow(3 of 3 customers found this review helpful)Customer ReviewI have been going to this vet for 18 years.i have had NOTHING but amazing FAMILY and professional treatment to my animals.The fact i had a great dane and drifter got under her like a mechanic to take her stitches and talk to her to reassure my dog what she was doing.My jersey loved her.The day we took her to be put done, my husband was not home.She was very nervous and sad.She was feeding of of me.Dr.hodder was busy with another family, as soon as she heard the Dr, s voice she ran to her and enveloped her in kisses.The Dr. Sat on the floor with her and cuddled and kisses her.I left knowing my baby was happy and content and if i stayed she would not be. I had a valley bull before my dane who at a moments notice would swell up from insect bite and we would rush her over and Dr.hodder would come speeding down the road, squeaking tires as she pulled into the parking lot to a halt jumping out the car door and running to unlock the door to the office.. every time...how many people can you say you feel that safe with leaving your family member with? I read some post on her about Abercrombie vet and i honestly cannot see the validity. .i am not saying there not..i just have a very strong and long evidence of the different . 10 stars from me **********
By Dissatisified from New Glasgow(2 of 2 customers found this review helpful)Save your pet - DO NOT go to this vetI had been taking my animals to this vet for years but became suspicious that there was a problem when the vet could never pinpoint what a problem was with a pet who was obviously sick. I finally got smart and took him for a second opinion to New Glasgow Vet. I found out that the "infection" we had been treating my cat for over 4 years was actually an entropian eye. A small surgery gave him relief. Also he had hypothyroid which was easily found with a simple blood test - which Aber. Vet had done several times at great expense - and a couple pills a day fixed that. My cat had lost 1/2 his body weight! He is doing fine now and I will never go back to Abercrombie Vet and hope no one else does either. Their license should be taken away-
