The UNAM’s School (UNAM-Canada) is the agency that represents the National Autonomous University of Mexico in this country.The main activities of the UNAM-Canada revolve around language courses: Spanish, English, and French. Also included are courses on Mexican and Latin American culture. As for teaching, UNAM serves more than 800 students a year. Among its tasks is to be a liaison between Canadian universities and the different departments of UNAM promoting academic exchange and joint research projects. The school also hosts conferences, lectures, discussion panels, book presentations, art and photography exhibitions, concerts, theatre, dance presentations and film series.
