There was a dual plate service of prime rib and chicken kiev, with the guests having the option of either meal. The food was so great with large portions. The service staff were also good and courteous. The room ambiance was nice with a large dance floor and lots of upscale decorations for the wedding. Would totally recommend this little niche to anyone.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The room has a fantastic ambiance with a big dance floor and lots of super décor. The meal was a buffet. The portions were really large. The food was the best, and the service was good also. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Would recommend this venue and caterer to anyone having a wedding. I just attended a great one.

They have been operating for many years, and their experience shows. They have homemade perogies (hand pinched), holopchi and meatballs that taste just like "Gramma's. It is so hard to find this great quality along with the professionally trained staff that serve you at their banquets. You can even pick up some of their products at the shop for special occasions. Can you believe that they are so busy that they even sell out for Christmas or Thanksgiving. You need to order early or you will not get products like perogies or holopchi. The fundraisers that we have attended have had prime rib that simply melts in your mouth, or deluxe buffets that are just incredible with so many selections it is hard to choose. Recently I attended a tent wedding at a friends. The meal was so tasty. The servers were friendly and efficient. Honestly after being a customer of Ludwicks so many years I have came to the conclusion that they are simply the best caterer in Winnipeg. I totally recommend them for any occasion.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

An out of province family member brought in desserts which evidently may not have transported well. Official paperwork later circulated confirmed Ludwicks food contain NO food borne contaminants, this was a fast moving Virus. Apparently several staff members who did NOT eat also became ill as did their families. Clearly not Ludwick's food. I've had Ludwicks meals at other weddings and graduations I've attended, everyone is always very happy with the food. My wife and I would recommend Ludwicks in heart beat.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
By Patricia from Winnipeg(1 of 2 customers found this review helpful)Wedding DisasterWhile attending my daughter's wedding in November 2013 at Patricia's Ballroom and banquet hall, catered by Ludwicks catering. 84 of our 100 guests came down with a food borne illness commonly found in buffets. Now I ask is this something you want remembered by the guests? Nothing has been done to resolve this as they have not responded to our emails. I would NEVER recommend Patricia's Ballroom or Ludwicks as they are the exclusive caters to Patricia's. Some people were sick for as long as one week.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend

Making us have to loose a days wage... will never recommend them to any clients ever again. And will be pursuing our lost wages do to their negligence-
