Had a bad experience with this place. Came in to have my breaks looked at, he put my truck on the hoist, and when he turned the front tires by hand, they were tight. He told me my 2010 f150 needed new callipers, rotors, and pads. Explained to him that I have an extended bumper to bumper warranty through a different insurance company other than Ford and I will go through them to get the work done. He began to argue with me saying you'll never get your money, those companies are just ripoffs, I want to be paid upfront first! You can deal with those extended warranty companies. After talking to the insurance company, and paying my deductible, I was able to get the calipers, and the amount of hours it takes to change the calipers through the insurance. And I would pay the mechanic upfront for everything and the insurance would reimburse me the money back minus my deductible. Works for me! While he had the callipers off he claimed that the pads were so tight that they weren't floating, that's why they were hanging up on the rotor, therefore the pads were continuously applied. So I checked the calipers with his tools and The plungers worked fine . So I asked him, so do you think the calipers are okay? And the rotors look fine. They're not scored, they're not blue, and they're brand-new. I just put the rotors and pads on a month. He said well, it really Only needs pads, the edges need to be filed down so they can be free-floating in the caliper. So I said let's just order new pads put them in, and we're good to go. He claimed he had already ordered all the parts and they're coming. Then he says everything got hot, so the calipers inside are working properly, and the rotors will be warped. Took everything to Lordco, and they claim that everything was fine and that test pads were tired and needed new ones. So I brought everything back To the mechanic , told him to cancel order, and put my old stuff back on. And I'm not paying for anything. Because I was towing my company trailer and I own a pressure washing company, he yelled at me and said maybe you can come into my shop and pressure wash my floor for my work done. I told him to put my stuff back together I'm not paying anybody and I'm leaving. We are trying to rip me off. He says I'm not ripping anybody off, the insurance company is paying for everything anyway. He put everything together, through my keys at me. I phoned the insurance company, and told them that there will be no claim. And they asked why. I told him exactly what happened and they took his name address and phone number for future reference. As for my truck, it ended up to be a $25 collapsed front brake hose.
