The ring was sent to another location unbeknownst to me and worst of all unbeknownst to the owner himself. He then promised us it would be ready at a later dat and when I went to pick it up he was not there and the employees did not have access to the safe where he said it was located. We had to go back yet a third time. Terrible Service. I do not recommend them for anything dealing with jewelry.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend
By Bobbi from Surrey(1 of 1 customers found this review helpful)Terrible ServiceThe owner told me that my ring would be repaired ins store via the in-store repair service. i gave it in on a Thursday evening and he assured me that it would be done by 2:30 on Saturday afternoon. I returned on Saturday at 1:30 pm and asked him if by chance it was ready. He said he hadn't actually given the ring to the repair person yet. He went to look for the ring and came to the realization that it was in fact not even in store. It had been taken to another location to be repaired-an option that was offered to me by other jewelry shops in the mall but I did not accept due to time constraints (needed my ring for an engagement photo shoot) and therefore chose this establishment instead based on the word of the owner assuring me that it would be repaired that weekend. He apologized and asked me to come back on Tuesday at any time and it would be ready for pickup. Just went back at 4:45 pm and he wasn't there. The employees at the store had no clue what I was referring to so they called him. He said he had locked it in his safe and the employees do not have a copy of the key. He has now told me to come back tomorrow. This place is a joke. Don't trust them with your jewelry repairs because the proposed on site services apparently can't reset a stone so I'm not sure what else they can do. The manger of the store seemed helpful but how much can she do considering the owner is at the top of the ladder and offers nothing but miscommunication, poor business ethic and poor customer service? I can only hope to get my ring back tomorrow. After that, I'll never be going back there again and I suggest that whoever reads this do the same and steer clear of Garine jewellers.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
