This is the worst mechanic shop to go to, there service at first is nice until after they do the work on your car. We had our transmission, radiator, water pump, timing belt, and motor mounts done from them and now have had nothing but problems. When we brought the car back cause the gear shift would slide in to neutral while it was in drive so they tightened the cables, then after that we could hear a weird fast taping noise from where the timing belt casing is took it back again and they said to my girlfriend oh it's nothing to worry about, then the car starts jumping while she was stopped at a light, called the guy and they said when you replace a motor mount it will do that until it matches up with the other mounts on the engine. Then my girlfriends cousin whom is a retired mechanic heard it while were up camping says that does not sound right and opens the hood of her car and says your timing belt is loose you better take it back to the mechanic an have them tighten it cause it's not safe to the 3 people at aamco standing around her cars engine saying it just the casing it's fine. Now at this point it's been 3 times back to aamco. 2 days later the noise gets louder so we call them and they say bring it in for them to put it on there computer and say oh we didn't do anything wrong it must be another problem and we argued with them and they sent us off. About a week later we take the car to a neighbor who's a mechanic an has his own shop to have a look at it an he says to us oh your transmission is leaking and they put chalking around the transmission pan and that they cracked the plate on the differential casing and tried to chalk that as a quick fix and your oil pan has a small leak cause the bolt to the pan has been striped and the timing belt is loose and the casing wasn't put on properly plus they broke the plastic covering that covers the throttle cables. The only thing they did right was putting in the radiator and water pump and motor mount. So we go down to there shop and tell them what this other mechanic said and they were like oh he doesn't know what he's talking about so I call up my neighbor and let him talk to the idiots at aamco and then there like ok you will have to bring it back and we will redo the whole timing belt again. My girlfriend calls and makes an appointment for the car to be fixed and they told her on the phone and in person that the car would be ready by 5 or 6 pm. She calls aamco and they say oh there's an issue with the tensioner and we can't fix it today when she calls them at 5pm, she told the guy on the phone what was told to her that her car would be ready and he said oh there's nothing I can do and that she will have to wait, she explains that she has her kids to pick up and other things to do and if she could have a car for the night so that she could do so and the said there's nothing he could do. So the car is still there after it was only suppost to be a 7 hour job to now not having her car done when it was said to being screwed over. Don't take your car to these scammers all they will do is screw up your car even more.
