Terrible experience with the customer service person. I went into the store on December 26, I can only assume the guys at the parts counter weren't' happy to be working Boxing Day. I asked the older fellow (white/grey) hair a question as he initially ignored me and as told he was busy (I was the only person at the counter) after doing something on the computer for another minute then asked what I wanted. I asked if he had any engine decodes on sale, he looked at the other employee and said we don't do Boxing Day sales and they both laughed at me. I could not believe the rudeness of this staff. I never mentioned Boxing Day and as I recall Lordco like everyone else has weekly sales. It was clear he did not want to be their and his lack of customer service was not appreciated. Needless to say I left and made my purchase somewhere. If you want rude condescending employees then I recommend the No 3 road location. I should say that I have dealt with the North Vancouver location for years and find them very professional and helpful, but felt I had to comment on this person at the Richmond store, employees like that can quickly ruin a companies reputation.

The last few times I've been in Lordco the service was just terrible. These guys act like they know what they're talking about but I'd be surprised if any of them even know how to change their own Oil. Constantly talking to eachother behind the desks and telling you to wait wait wait. I've been given the wrong seals multiple times even after bringing in the exact correct part numbers they still ask what make what year etc etc then still get the parts wrong 2/4 times. Today after asking for soft/distilled water I was told to just add whatever water to get a 50/50 mix of radiator coolant; well I have seen what Chlorinated water does to some radiators and rubber hoses...it eats through the rubber hoses and can corrode your radiator. I smirked and was rudely asked what was so funny...do not trust these ignorant people they don't know what they're talking about.

    Will never return
We had just returned to the lower mainland from the interior and were staying at a hotel in richmond while our home was being painted. We took the time to fix a few little things on the car. I have never been treated so poorly. My husband went in first asking for help to find two bolts that would work to fasten a part of the trunk of our car. Toyota recommended we go and ask them because they were basic bolts and they'd be able to show us what would work. He also asked if he could get fuses for the trunk and console light in the car. He returned home so disgusted ,saying he not only wasn't helped, he felt unwelcome in the store. I returned to the store with him the next day(after much insisting) to see if they could help and maybe had a bad day the day prior. I approached the customer service desk at the back to find three men having a conversation and none of the three men was interested in helping us. I had to interrupt to ask about the bolt and after the coldest most condescending look I was told that there was a "rack over there" that had bolts on it. It was clear I wanted some advice and they didn't have time for that. I also asked about the Fuse I needed and they said "I don't know". Not two seconds to tell me where to look in the store or how to find out (I'd looked Online and was still unclear)they literally stood there and looked at me as if to tell me to f*** off. "I don't know and stood there staring at me. I actually felt unwelcome and left the store realizing my husband was right in the first place. On my way out I commented on the bad service to another staff member at the till and she smiled and shrugged. Never will I spend another cent at Lordco
No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend
