    Terrible Customer Service & Not Honoring Scheduled Appointment
    We paid to have our heat pump assessed. Once it was looked at, Guardian was difficult to schedule an appointment with. After our first assessment of the repair (in September), we called for an appointment and they were too busy to give us a date and told us to call back at then end of October. So we waited and called back and made an appointment for November for the repair. On the phone we made sure that the receptionist knew to remind the heat pump contractor that they had said it might be a 2 day job, and to please write that in their notes, so this was not missed. On the day of the appointment, we did not hear from Guardian until 12pm, when they phoned to say that they did not have the time to come to our appointment because it would take 6 hours. They said there was nothing that they could do because they did not know that they were doing a repair, and it was not written in their files. They were unwilling to admit their mistake and make an appointment for the next day, and tried instead to reschedule for December, a month later. Upon hearing this, we were upset and tried very hard to make them understand that we had been scheduled for this repair and we could not afford to wait another month as our heat pump bills are outrageous in the winter. We were spoken rudely to (saying it was not their problem), and even at one point hung up on. We are very disappointed in their incompetency and very poor customer service as now we are left without a working heat pump and the temperature is quickly dropping. Very disappointed, and a waste of money so far. Will not be calling them again.
