He has practiced criminal law in Campbell River and throughout Vancouver Island, both prosecuting and defending, for over thirty years. During that time he has successfully defended clients facing murder charges, manslaughter, attempted murder, aggravated assault, sexual assault, impaired driving, fraud and most other criminal offences, including successfully defending the first murder and manslaughter criminal jury trials held in Campbell River.Sarah Runyon is an associate with the firm and practices in the area of criminal defense and administrative law, including Workers’ Compensation Board matters. She has appeared as counsel before administrative tribunals in British Columbia and at all levels of court in British Columbia.Ms. Runyon joined the firm after clerking for several Justices of the British Columbia Supreme Court with a large national firm in Vancouver.
