What is not mentioned is that both snowblowers were at least 25 years old,had been given to Mel and in poor condition. Yes they were at our business for a longer period of time and were not repaired that much is true. What is also the truth is that without being able to locate good used parts they were not worth investing money in. Perhaps we should have asked for a minimum of $300. upfront and put all the new parts that were required on the snowblowers and then he would be complaining about a completely different problem and that would be that we ripped him off. As for the sick part that is also true at the time they were here I was under a doctors care for an undiagnosed problem that required multiple mri's, catscans etc but that was also not Mel's business. The bottom line I should have told Mel to take them somewhere else where he would have been told don't take it off your truck we don't work on anything that old.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
By Mel from Elk Point(4 of 5 customers found this review helpful)Terrible ServiceWe took 2 snowblowers to the in Sept 2013, called a lot of times were not done, finally were told 1 craftsman could not be fixed, so were going to fix other one. Called again not open when should be, called again in Nov 2013 not finished yet. Called 3 times in Dec, once not finished, 2nd time was sick, third time still not finished! told her to keep the damn things we will buy new and all she said was ok, maybe that is why there is so much junk there. We will never take anything there again, and the best advertisement is by mouth, will not get anything but bad from us-
