Very fair, prompt, and have had no problems with the work done. Even knocked off ten dollars on my wife's bill because the estimate was lower. I would recommend anyone who needs work done to go see Ken at First Stop!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have and always will recommend them before I ever go to Canadian tire Ok tire or kal tire. Thank you for keeping me and my little ones safe not matter the weather.

A friend recommended First Stop and said they would give me a better price. They checked my truck and told me I didn't need everything the first place had quoted. Ken at First Stop did the repairs together with his apprentice and when everything was done I paid him $1093.57 and no more problems. I am writing this review 3 weeks after the repairs were done and everything is good with the repairs. Ken is also the first one to explain things to me in a way that made sense. Other garages that I have gone to in the past have explained the repairs to me in a way that made me wonder later as to what they were really saying. I am very happy with the work and will be going to First Stop Tire and Auto from now on.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Tanya called me for a price on replacing an inner tie rod on her truck. I told her the tie rod was $76, labor to replace one was $100, and the alignment was $105. I then said that the total including shop supplies and tax would come to $317. When she got here she told me that she wanted both inner tie rods replaced so I told her that would be more money then originally quoted. I then ordered another tie rod and found out that we would have to wait for it come from a warehouse in Edmonton and would not get here until 11am. We then discovered that one of the outer tie rods were bent. A bent tie rod is the result of hitting a curb or pothole or possibly going into a ditch. I told her that it would take longer then originally quoted when I found out that she wanted both tie rods replaced and offered to give her a ride home. I again offered to give her a ride home when we discovered the bent outer tie rod. She refused the ride both times. As far as the mechanic going for a hair cut goes, he was waiting for the part to come and it was coffee break time, so he went next door and got a haircut. He was back in less then 15 minutes. For some reason Tanya did not know that we eat lunch at 12 noon and expected us to work on her truck through lunch. We don't do that. Another customer was booked in at 1pm for a 15 minute repair which we took care of at that time because he was from out of town. We then proceeded to do an alignment on her truck and found that all the adjustments on the front end of her truck were completely out of range and we had to do a lot more work then we expected to get the alignment right so it took longer. We did not charge her extra time for that in order to try to make her happy but that didn't help.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Worst service ever maybe if I was a guy I would have gotten treated better. Made an appt for 9 am got here at 8:30. He only ordered one inner tie rod not 2 to do so I waited with my 2 year old until 11 until the part showed up was quoted 317 yesterday when I called for my tie rodssss then I was informed that the outer tie rods he done in November one was bent so that is another 220 then I find out 317 is for only one inner tie rod he sent me home at 12 because it was lunch time yet his guy while we were waiting for the part went and got a hair cut but still needed lunch off so I called my mom he said it would be done by 1 because they have another appt nope I called at 1:30 he had taken my vehicle off to do that vehicle because he booked that appt 3 days before mine for 1:00 pm so what my appt was before that persons he doesn't care if I call the BBB. He then said my vehicle would be done by 2:30 nope 2:50 was not done went and picked up my daughter from school got back there at 3:30. So I was told it would take 2 hours it took 7 and I was quoted 317 and my bill in the end was 761.69. My Uncle has been a mechanic for 30 + years out at Mayerthorpe and said this place ripped me off and that they are a joke. I have the old parts and will be taking them to my Uncle to see if that outer tie rod even needed to be changed they probably bent it. As well they said I had a lazy spring in my vehicle in November guess what I dont as soon as they did the inner tie rods my vehicle sits staright so they should have probably have done them in November too because they were so bad they were rubbing on my brand new tires. DONT TRUST THIS GUY HIS NAME IS KEN!!No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
