When someone is in tears at the counter because they need a paper smear done as soon as possible and the receptionist tells you that they are fully booked for the next 2 or 3 months and cannot any further in advance. 2 years of trying with these useless receptionists and I finally found someone that could drive me to Hinton to get the service. I then decided to call the hospital in Jasper to see if they would do an emergency pap smear because I had bed irregular bleeding and guess what they do!!! The cottage medical clinic suggested for me to go to Edmonton and never once mentioned that the building next door to them offers the service any day of the week. This could be a life of death situation and the receptionist at the cottage medical clinic should have used their head and suggested to visit their next door neighbor.-
