By Discouraged from EdmontonStay Away!I have had nothing but issues with this builder. Long story short they see their customers as dollar signs and don't care about the satisfaction after they get their money. The "standard features" of the show home turned out not to be standard and if you wanted them there was a huge upcharge, unfortunately I found this out at 90% completed construction. Almost every week during construction they called me in because something came up and I needed to pay them more money. They "had" to make changes to the design even though we had already agreed on the final layout. All together I paid almost $10,000 more that I was not expecting. They said if I did not pay they would stop building the house and be keeping my down payment. There were several smaller issues during construction but it took an incredible effort to try and get them resolved. Numerous phone calls and emails were required. A lot of the time they would just ignore me and not get back to me when they said they would so I would have to continue chasing them down. After moving in I discovered a few issues which I believe is fairly normal. However they only have one repairman in charge of all their warranty issues and he is not organized at all. I will organize a full day for him to come and fix the issues, take the day off work and just wait all day for him to show up at the end of the day and ask me "how's things going"... I have a list of issues from when I moved in that still aren't addressed almost a year later. My belief is that are blowing me off until I just give up since suing them would cost more than it's worth. However I just found some leaks in the basement and got a quote to fix the issue at $20,000. Park Royal says they will silicone where it's leaking and that will be good enough... I would never build with them again and suggest anyone considering it stays away!No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
