    old, damaged cooler unit was sent instead of a new
    We ordered online a new cooler unit from Mid-City company on 07/11/2014 and paid $1013.82.This year in July our technicians opened the box and noticed that both sides of the unit have been damaged and it was old, used cooler as well. The Haier Air conditioner company provided that information that they never send used coolers to their customers. The box was fine, that means Mid-City company placed an old, damaged cooler into the box and mailed to us. Pictures were taken and sent to the owner, but no respond. It was very hard to reach him, and started a dirty game. Finally we had conversation about this purchase and he offered discount and check would be sent. We asked 20% discount due to the level of damage and used cooler was sent.Our discount was based on the technicians's experience and the level of the damage. This happened in July. We were waiting for the check, but it didn't come. After several unsuccessful phone calls, the owner continued the dirty game with us again. Finally the check has arrived on October 03/2015 with $25. I think $25 discount is not enough money to cover the loss of the quality of the cooler unit.This shows that the owner of Mid-City has no responsibility for his job and he is lack of customer service as well. Please make sure not to buy or rent any coolers from Mid-City, the owner is not a trustful person. Arpad Torok, Cambridge, Ontario
