Founded in 1960, the Calgary Rugby Union has been registered as not profit organization under the Alberta Societies Act since 1974. Located at 9025 Shepard Road SE Calgary, Alberta. The Calgary Rugby Union is an umbrella organization responsible for the administration and organization of the sport of rugby in Southern Alberta. It is owned by its members, the eleven member clubs that come from Calgary, Banff, Red Deer, Okotoks, Medicine Hat and Lethbridge.
