The Queenston Dinner

With roots dating to 1847, Canada's premier commemorative event is solemn but not somber formal event in the format of an Artillery Mess Dining-in. The dinner pays tribute to those British Regulars, Indigenous warriors from the SIx Nations, Delaware and Chippewa, local militias and Captain Runchey's Company of Coloured Men, who repulsed the American invasion at Queenston, and recognizes the death of Major General Sir Isaac Brock, the hero who organized the defence of Upper Canada.
