Danforth Psychology

Danforth Psychology is a private psychology clinic in Toronto’s east end. We are a group of clinicians dedicated to helping provide a supportive and empathic environment for adolescents, young adults, adults and families where they can seek to better understand themselves, to move forward in the places where they might feel stuck, and also to accept the areas in life where change may not be possible. We work with a number of presenting issues including: depressive disorders, trauma and PTSD, anxiety disorders, relationship challenges, teen peer issues and self esteem issues, OCD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, scheduling and planning deficits, behavioural issues, parenting issues, substance use, life transitions, grief, sleep issues, school refusal and self-harm as well as a range of dietitian and nutritional issues. We work from a number of evidence based therapy perspectives including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. We work with adolescents, young adults, adults and families in a number of areas including: Individual Young Adult & Adult Therapy, Individual Teen/Adolescent Therapy, Dietitian Services, Assessment Services, Group Therapy, Supervision, Training, and Workshops.
