It all started in 1946 when a small workshop born borrowing the name of its founder, Paul-Emile Cadieux. At the time, after a promising start in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, the bike lost its appeal in favor of the automobile, a social phenomenon rapidly emerging. Yet, through perseverance and determination, the bike would soon become a major leisure and move gradually into the daily life of Jérômiens. This development is owed partly to the founder of Cycles Cadieux. In addition to a recognized expertise and a thorough knowledge of the products available on the market, allowing the company to always recommend to clients the right bike for the right use, Paul-Emile Cadieux has mostly passed on to his entourage unconditional love of the sport. A passion for cycling, certainly, but also an unquestionable desire to accommodate the customer and serve with professionalism. Today, having belonged to the Gauthier family, father and daughter, from 1982 to 2005, the company became the property of another passionate, Marcel St-Jacques. It is inspired by the founder of Cycles Cadieux that the new owner has surrounded himself with a young and dynamic team of bike enthusiasts who want nothing more than to share this passion that drives them.
