Original Home Furniture is now, and always has been a family business. Established in 1948, Home Furniture quickly became a consistent choice for customers looking for quality furniture at a fair price. Today, proprietors Lynn and Darlene McClellan of Elora are proud to continue the tradition of treating every customer like a neighbour. Original Home Furniture has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere – an oasis from high-pressure stores. Home Furniture opened back in 1948 in Guelph and enjoyed a long successful run that continues today. A few years back, amazingly, another store opened in the area calling itself “Home Furniture,” as well. We wanted to differentiate our well-established store from the new kid on the block. And thus, “Original Home Furniture” was born.
