When I went in I asked if they did custom work/repairs to which they said they did. I had two rings that I wanted to keep and make into one new ring. I explained that it was the sentimental value of the rings that I wanted to keep. I was told that it would be better just to buy a new ring. The lady tried two times different times during the conversation to try to show me some rings. When she saw that I was not interested her attitude changed and she told me that it would be too expensive to get the work done. I asked her how much and she said $1200 or more. I was shocked and disappointed. Another friend suggested a different store in town where they gladly did the work for under $100.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend

Some people just go through life with such negative attitudes that project onto everything and everybody, I feel sorry for them. I would highly recommend this Store to anyone who is looking for Great Service and Products.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A few years ago we sized the engagement band at Lougheed's and we were happy with the job and told they would be able to size the other band when we were ready as we could not afford to do both at the time. I came back in today after my fiance visited them this week and they asked for me to come in for sizing to make sure it was accurate. The owner himself was there and informed me he was going to "pass" on the job. I told him we had the other band done there and were informed at the time to come back as well as I was told to come in to get the sizing, he rudely re-informed me that he has already stated he was going to pass and that I should leave and go about my day. I was appalled and said I would be sure to let others know how they do business and he said "You do that , now leave, have a nice day". Shocking and appalling attempt at customer service Sir, I can not believe someone with such a poor attitude towards their customers is even in business. Thanks to Mary's fine Jewellery down a few doors to making my wedding wishes come true and taking my ring in for sizing after I had been treated so unkindly my the owner of Lougheed's.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
