Firefly Counselling and Consulting

We offer expert psychological and counselling services to help individuals, families, and couples. Our therapists provide counselling for children, teens and adults. We work with people from all walks of life. Our clientele are parents, blue and white collar workers, first responders, large business entrepreneurs, First Nations and Metis, and from the LGBTQ community. We treat anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, communication breakdown, parenting challenges, child behaviour issues, workplace stress, and self-esteem challenges. Each of our therapist's can help clients across this general range of issues, but each therapist has additional specialties. For example, Karin has advanced training in EMDR (to treat trauma), parent child attachment and parenting (for children ages 0-5), and particular interest in helping individuals overcome addictions, anxiety, and workplace stress. Stephanie works with adults offering hypnotherapy and CBT to address depression, anxiety, performance issues, and self-esteem issues. She also has advanced training in play therapy, expressive arts therapy, and music therapy to help school age children overcome behaviour issues, parenting-child relational issues, and self-esteem struggles. Donna works with teens, adults and couples. She has training in woking with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, communication challenges, and marriage and relationship difficulties. She treats individuals and families dealing with borderline personality, OCD, and schizophrenia. Our therapists each have 15+ years of experience. We offer an easy to use online booking system and provide free client parking directly outside of our office. We can direct bill Alberta Blue Cross and a variety of other insurance providers.
