Not too happy with customer's service
Today (June 14, 2014) I purchased a small Frigidaire freezer at Leon's Orillia store. When we took it home and opened the box, my husband noticed that the bottom metal bar, covering the electrical parts, was quite dented. We called the store, they told us to bring the freezer back (it was really hard for us, almost seniors, to lift such a heavy item onto the car's roof rack) and they will exchange it. The lady at the Customers Service Desk made us wait an eternity for no reason, nobody said anything for 10 minutes, so finally we had enough and started to complain. After that the exchange went fine, but we would have appreciated if the salesman at least came out of his office (I checked, he was not busy) to offer a slight apology for the inconvenience of driving an additional 40 km. on a Saturday afternoon (we are cottages). I know it's not the salesman's fault that the freezer was faulty (perhaps someone should notify Frigidaire's Quality Control), but a little courtesy, a few words of apology, personal attention, a bit more polished customer's service would have made us feel better.

    Not a Happy Customer
I purchased 3 Frigidaire appliances from this store in March of 2012. When we had the dishwasher installed, the install guy noticed that there were cracks in the frame. I called the appliance manager at the store and he gave me his email to send pictures. I sent them right away and then proceeded to wait. I emailed and called for the next three months, all to no avail. Finally, I went into the store on a day when they were having a big sale and proceeded to let the front girl know why I was there in front of the other customers. Finally, I got service and we got our replacement dishwasher. This was just the start, we didn't buy an extended warranty and so when 1 yr and 2 weeks after our purchase, our new fridge broke, no help, no anything, merely a recommendations for an appliance repair place. I called back again in 18 months when our stove completely shut down and they wouldn't even talk to me about it. Just kept repeating that we didn't get the extended warranty. This is not good customer service. Someone should let them know exactly what that entails.
