By Amanda B. from MississaugaCustomer ReviewThere are no other words to describe my experience at Master Mechanics on Matheson East than complete and utter lack of respect and professionalism towards customers. Initially, the customer care representative behind the desk was extremely polite and willing to help. It wasn't until we talked to the mechanic and a fellow who seemed to be a supervisor, as he did not have 'mechanic clothes' on. Knowing quite a be about cars, we discussed with the mechanic and supervisor what we believed needed to be fixed. As we did not have the part that needed to be replaced, we asked how much it would be for them to order it, to which they replied: $600. My friend said, to the mechanic: "Just one second let me make a call," since he wanted to see if he could get the part for cheaper, and have them install it. We went outside to make the phone call. By the time we re-entered, the car was being moved back into the parking lot by the supervisor, who roughly gave us the keys and said in a highly demeaning tone, (as he walked back to the garage, without even standing and talking directly at us) "You guys are wasting my time here. I'm not going to fix this car. I'm done here." It also appeared as if we were being treated as an inferior customer because we are teenagers. I highly doubt that this event would have happened if an older customer did nothing more than simply weigh out all their options. My experience at Master Mechanic on Matheson has lead me to believe that this crew of employees are nothing but a bunch of egotistical money-grabbers who turn into monsters as soon as they realize they are dealing with a customer that will not tolerate any unnecessary jobs be done to the car. A customer that acknowledges that they are being ripped off appears to be the workers' nightmare come true, and they are ever so quick to dismiss you without any courtesy or form of respect for their client. I want to make people aware of the complete lack of respect and professionalism that this shop has shown me, so you can make an informed choice of whether or not to get your vehicle serviced here.-
