By Anonymous from Markham(2 of 2 customers found this review helpful)They care more about profit than your petI took my pet for 17 years to this clinic and had some suspicions but in the end I put my trust in them because they had known my dog since she was a puppy. After watching the CBC's Marketplace episode called "Barking Mad" (I highly recommend every pet owner watch this) I've realized that they had been ripping me off for all those years. I trusted the vets at this clinic to do what was best for my pet, it's now clear that they were more interested in making a profit. Pushing for heartworm tests every year even though she had been on the medication all her life when the risk of getting such a disease in Ontario is 2%. Yearly vaccinations when they are not needed. I don't want to know what other costs they added to my bills that weren't necessary. If you are looking for a vet in markham I recommend you call a couple of different places and do a bit of research before making your choice. I for one feel betrayed by Village Animal Clinic and highly recommend taking your pet somewhere else.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
