John did my taxes for 3 years without a problem. After I received my 2015 return I phoned him to ask a few questions. He told me he would get my numbers in front of him and call me right back. That was the last I ever heard from him. I've left half a dozen phone messages and sent multiple emails asking him to get in touch with me. I live 6 hours away, so I don't feel like driving to his office to try to make contact. It has been eight months, and I still have no idea what is going on. I cant even get him to send me my records so I can pass them on to a new accountant. Needless to say this has caused me a fair amount of stress.
No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend

Can't give zero stars. This company in Guelph, Ont is quick to make promises & take your money, but their business ethics leave a lot to be desired. They decide if & when they'll return your messages. Terms of investment(s) subject to change without notice of any kind, especially in writing. If you want your money back from your investment(s) be prepared to wait over a year & to hear lots of dates & reasons in the meantime while you are waiting. You are left to feel like the money you gave for investors is now John's personal money and you are the bane of his company's existence. Do yourself a favor and monitor the investment interest payment. You might not get it on time or even get it all. Good luck in trying to get John to act on your behalf. If you do get to speak with him, "he will look into it, or isn't aware of any problems & will get back to you" But he won't. Invest in another company that treats you like a person, not a walking dollar bill to be used, ignored or exploited
