Walkwel Pedicare was started in the early 80's by Jack McCalpin, a Pedorthist, manager of Walkwel and then manager of Becker Shoes, Kingston. He has worked for 40 years as a shoe fitter, 35 of those years as a Pedorthist. He saw it as a natural extension to provide quality foot care products and instruments to Foot Care Nurses and their institutions. Becker Shoes has been serving families across Canada for over three generations and like Walkwel Shoes, is one of the longest family owned and operated shoes stores in Canada.
