By Kathy from Winnipeg(2 of 3 customers found this review helpful)Poor ServiceI called Reimer Soils to order 3 yards of soil and gave my credit card number over the phone. I was told it would take 36 hours to make the delivery. I had expected the soil to be delivered some time the next afternoon. At 5:30 p.m. of the delivery day, I called to find out when my soil would be dropped off. I gave my address again and the operator told me it was on its way. At 7:00 I called a second time, gave my address and asked where the delivery truck was. I told her I was under the impression that afternoon meant before supper time, but she replied that afternoon means anytime from 12:00 to when they close at 7:00. So I asked her if I my soil should be here any minute since it was 7:00. She replied it was on its way. Finally, at 8:00 p.m. I called a third time and talked to a different operator. She told me that my order wasn't even in the system. She asked me if I was sure that I had called Reimer Soils because she had no way of confirming if I had actually called since they don't have call display. I told of course I called them and I wasn't lying about calling the other two times. She told me she had no way of knowing who took my order, nor what happen with my credit card number, but advised me to keep a watch on my statement. She offered to take my order again, saying this had never happened to them before, and I declined. Why would I give my credit card number again to a business I can't trust? How would I know that this operator would actually put the order in the computer and how would I know if I called back again the operators would actually do their job and check the computer to confirm my delivery? This was my first time calling Reimer Soils and unfortunately for them, it will be my last.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
