Since before the dinosaurs, SAAR Environmental Limited has been providing the private sector and public sector with natural heritage expertise. Our study team of ecologists, GIS specialists and professor bring a combined sixty years of experience to help you get the job done. We provide impact studies on plants, animals and birds with a specialty in wetlands and habitat restoration. SAAR ecologists have designed field experiments to investigate the needs of many rare species and habitats. We have also researched, authored and conducted hundreds of environmental impact assessments. We have a number of senior, experienced staff who consult in a variety of disciplines and offer our clients expert knowledge in both the technical aspects of a project and the environmental regulations applicable. Our clients include lower and upper tier municipalities, energy companies, aggregate sector, and many diverse land use applications including estate residential subdivisions, golf courses, movie sets, commercial, adult resort residential communities, rare species inventories for consistency with current statutes including the Species at Risk Act and Endangered Species Act.
