JIM BELL DESIGN is an residential architectural design firm located in Stittsville, serving the Ottawa Region providing design services for fine custom homes and cottages. Specializing in modern & traditional style of architecture for private clients, with extensive experience doing fine homes, cottages and vacation homes, extensive renovations and additions, throughout Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. As well as the Ottawa region we work in a numerous cottage country regions spanning from the Muskoka’s to Glengarry County and the shores of the Saint-Laurent River to Laurentians Mountains of West Quebec. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with consistent level quality service & good design. Our passion is for creating practical spaces in which families live, work, relax and entertain. Spaces, which make people, say ‘wow’ when they walk into them and which are flexible to accommodate families changing needs. Maximizing the potential for multiple uses, light, space and energy-savings, we have a strong track record for innovatively integrating ‘green’ technology, and for obtaining planning & permit approvals, particularly in areas where restrictions make it difficult. We are Design & construction professionals using 3D & BIM design technology to speed up construction, improve cost control and minimize costly mistakes on-site. This technology also allows us to upload to our client's PC, Mac, iPad or other Apple or Android devices, a 3D model of their building, which they can 'walk around', share and review at their leisure - at home and/or on the move.
