By NickR from GuelphAVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTSBought a countertop reverse osmosis filter from Max Water. It didn't work, and their customer service was awful. They kept demanding more pictures and information about their defective unit, and finally after weeks of back and forth, accepted a return. They then lost the returned unit, and when I demanded a refund, they mysteriously found it again, and claimed it worked fine and my water pressure is too low. My water pressure is fine, I have another RO unit that works perfectly, and I had tried their defective unit at another location just to be sure. They kept insisting on returning the defective unit to me, claimed I was past the warranty period, and refused to refund the purchase. Eventually after months of hassle, emails and phone calls, most of which were never returned, we got a chargeback from the credit card company. I highly recommend avoiding doing any business with this company, they are rude, incompetent and borderline fraudulent.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
