Perception Photography

Perception Photography is owned and operated by Carli Robertson. She strives to deliver excellent service as well as a quality product that will serve as a family heirloom to be passed down for generations. She has a strong passion for the art of photography, as well as capturing personalities and the bonding moments that define our lives. Carli deals with in studio as well as on location photography. Although her home base is in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, she can travel depending on the specifics of the job. With a passion for photography, Carli loves to try new things. She prefers artistic beautiful portraits, not just looking for smiles but also capturing the essence of the mood. She enjoys capturing the smiley, giggly, mischievous, pouty and serious portraits to introduce a variety and tell the full story. She enjoys the whole process and has never ending patience with the kids. The sessions are fun, and are nothing like the stressful experiences that may occur in other studios. Experience as the manager of CPI Portrait Studio since 2010 has given her the chance to enjoy photography with hundreds of clients over the years. She has also completed graphic arts classes, computer processing technology, and a photography class as well as workshops through a professional photographer in Saskatoon. Works of hers have been published in Our Canada magazine, as well as Rural Roots and The Daily Herald. In August 2010, she won Judge's choice for best photo in the Prince Albert Exhibition out of about 250 entries. In the Prince Albert Winter Festival, Sandra Fraser juried in one of her photos to display February to March 2011. From July-August 2012, a selection of her photos were displayed in John M. Cuelenaere Library in Prince Albert. She is also a member of the Aurora Art Group, which holds annual art shows.
