Formed in 1974 the Alberta Congress Board is a not-for-profit organization that brings together diverse stakeholders to address socio-economic issues of mutual concern. Each year ACB brings together all stakeholder groups to attend a conference on timely issues.
Mission: To engage business, labour, government, education and health in a collaborative effort to achieve consensus and recommend action on issues in the workplace, leading to the enhancement of the quality of life for Albertans.
Vision: Providing non-partisan leadership by promoting and facilitating collaborative problem solving on relevant issues in the workplace. Shaping the future of the workplace in Alberta.
Values: The Alberta Congress Board believes that the workplace is where cooperative action by stakeholders is a responsible and effective practice by which Albertans can learn and appreciate different perspectives.
