Trimay® Wear Plate Ltd. manufactures alloy-clad abrasion-and-corrosion-resistant wear plate using a bulk overlay submerged arc welding (SAW) process. Alloy powders are blended in house to manufacture chrome carbide(CCO), complex carbide, tungsten (WCO) and borocarbide overlay plates. Trimay's standard plate overlay product line includes: T138, T156, T157, T161, T161i, T170, T171(3mm), T171(6mm), and T171(8mm) blends. These propriatary alloy blends are normally welded onto carbon or stainless steel base plates. Trimay® Group also operates Trimay® Pipe Products which specializes in alloy cladding internals on straight pipe, bends, elbows and transitions, using a FCAW circumferential welding process. Selection includes chrome carbide (CCO), tungsten (WCO), and borocarbide overlays. Trimay® Pipe Products also offers a line of pipe and casing connections that 'snap' together using lockring technology widely used in offshore drilling. These connectors do not require any onsite welding or bolting, and also allow for quick removal and rotation of pipeline joints/segments. These connectors can be used on both lined (rubber, urethane, CCO, WCO, etc.) and non-lined steel pipelines.
