Our origin dates back 50 years when B & C Packaging’s began manufacturing plastic bags in Montreal. As a small converter, they bought roll stock and converted it into poly bags and other products.  As a brand new company with clear long-term goals, they knew offering just a product would not be enough. They based their philosophy on customer service. Deliver the customer a reliable product with the customer service they deserve and it will be a win-win situation. Fostering this philosophy on a daily basis, the company has grown continually over decades. In 1978, the company decided to expand its production cabailities to Ontario and started converting and extruding polyethylene in Brampton. Film Tech Plastics division was created to meet the rapidly expanding demands of our client’s requirements.

Fast forward to modern day, Film Tech Plastics in Brampton, Ontario and B & C Packaging’s in St. Laurent, Quebec, occupies over 135 thousand square feet of warehousing and manufacturing space. At the operational level, Film Tech Plastics has responded to demand by continually updating its manufacturing equipment and looking for new ways of providing lower costs by improving efficiencies for production. The end result is producing higher quality products at a lower cost.
