    VERY POOR WORKMANSHIP, LACKS INTEGRITY
    WITHOUT PREJUDICE. MY COMPLAINTS ABOUT SCOTIAN HOMES(SH)TOO NUMEROUS TO LIST THEM ALL. SH OWES me approx $15,000.BUT refuses to pay me. SH didn't finish building on time causing me to loose out on a $7000.rebate,interior was repainted 3-4 times:CAUSE: poor workmanship, ALL the flooring had to be replaced due to DAMAGE CAUSED BY SH. IT TOOK SH 18 MONTHS to do it! SH charged me for items that I had supplied (ie.$600 for SH to supply and install a culvert when it was ALREADY INSTALLED BY THE PREVIOUS LAND OWNER,& WILL NOT RETURN MY MONEY TO ME, ruined my HD wiring, didn't reimburse me as promised,ruined rug leaving it in snow for 1 week,dented and cut my NEW STAINLESS STEEL FRIDGE on 2 separate occasions, damaged furniture,(& took no responsibility),stairs not "square" resulting in hwd floors not being installed properly,pony walls are DIFFERENT HEIGHTS one end to the other,lts installed poorly,roof leaked,shower bases installed wrong resulting in doors not fitting. SH blamed the "manufacturers poor instructions".I had to MAKE SH fix them 2 MTHS AFTER MOVE IN. An on site SH supervisor STOLE MONEY,outhouse left on premises six+ weeks after move in. The OWNER of SH PROMISED to REPAY money owed and to FIX the problems but once I released SH for replacing the flooring, SHE COMPLETELY RENEGED ON ALL OF HER PROMISES. After granting 2 extensions, New Home Warranty had to finish the work they had ORDERED SH to do. SH PUT A "GAG ORDER" on staff and TRADES MEN WERE THREATENED WITH LOSS OF FUTURE WORK IF THEY SPOKE TO ME. SH TRIED to bully me through their lawyer (without success). Don't complain to the BBB or the NS Home Builders Ass. (NSHBA) because SH is a paying member to each organization and they protect their members reputation. ALSO, THE OWNER of SH IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE NS HOME BUILDERS ASS.This ass.gives awards such as "Builder of the Year" etc. SH uses the awards to attract customers! THEY SHOULD BE AN AWARD FOR "LACK OF INTEGRITY"! SH HAS EARNED IT in my case!
