    I attended Rona, #55230 to have a new kitchen designed and installed in my basement apartment. The designer attended once to take measurements before designing the kitchen. I was informed that the install would take 2 weeks and would be completed prior to July 1st, 2017. The cost was $20,000.00 everything included. We are now at week 12 and the kitchen is a disaster and incomplete. Whenever I tell her about a problem, she uses a bandaid to solve it. When I speak to the contractor, as they were hired through Rona, he says that he must follow the instructions of the designer or he will be reprimanded for not following her instructions. No one in their right mind would accept a kitchen like this. Kitchen drawers don't close properly. This is the problem of the manufacturer but she will not do anything about. Says the stove will hide the problem. Cupboard doors close with a loud bang. She had the contractor cut two cupboards and try to match them up to create one cupboard. The microwave was installed at 12 inches above the stove. This is a fire hazard. When finally moved, she did not supply new backsplash to cover the old location of the microwave. I am very frustrated at this time and do not know where to turn to get my problem resolved. Are you able to assist me. I can forward pictures if you wish to see the mess.
