    Unethical, not customer friendly
    The Bay should rethink its Customer Service policy. Since November 2018 I have pages of e-mails sent to and from me to that department trying to resolve a refund situation. TODAY THEY REQUESTED A COPY OF MY BANK STATEMENT! In November I placed an order for a coat, I didn't receive a confirmation. I called the so-called Customer Service # and was told there was no record of the order and I should place the order again. I did - but I received 2 coats and was charged for both. I returned one expecting a refund. They coat was received by HBC verified by Canada Post. I have been told by this Customer Service Dept. 1) the coat was never received; 2) the coat was received; 3) I need to send them all documentation - which I did; 4) they are looking into the matter (several times); 5) Nov.23/18 received an e-mail that my refund was being processed wait 14-24 days; 6) called for status, told refund was processed Jan.9/19-- wait 14-24 days; 7) I'm being scammed. No reputable firm would ask for someone's bank statement -- this could be used for criminal intent. You cannot get in touch with someone in the Canadian office to try to sort out a problem. HBC is not interested in you, the customer. I'll never shop there again.

    Total Guard in Nanaimo Sucks for service
    A on going un professional Total Guard option that I would never recomend . Total Guard is like a insurance compay. Trying to get a repair is like painfull . The tech states he wont do the service because he has to drive to far and does make enouph money to take on the call. So then the owner from Montreal calls to say he is doing his best . Great ..... his best is not fixing my Kitchen Aid dishwasher. Fyi 3 visits from another tech they got he could not fix issues and he also stated , how many more times does he need to get to my home until Total guard replaces the unit. Today January 14 I met with the store Manager and explained that I am now upset and wand to get my money back or replace the unit. Lets see what She can do... I will update that action Tuesday. Date: January 14, 2018 From: NB Date: 2018-01-14 To: Maureen, MGR Subject: Dishwasher problems Maureen , This is A client from Lantzville B.C.. I'm very upset, the issues with the Kitchen Aid dishwasher is not resolved to date. The dishwasher was not working dated from December 2nd to present day and is truly Unsatisfactory . I am now due to the lack of professional assistance from your service department at a point of requesting a resolve from the below options . 1. Replace the unit or 2. Refund 50 percent of the unit with tax also total guard price paid back in full with tax. 3. Or full refund and I give you back unit . Thank you

    Purchased a Merchandise in store but it's supposedly delivered to my house. They had the wrong address and end up being sent back to The bay warehouse. Waiting for my refund for a month now. Called Them over 5 times to follow up and every single customer service person I spoke to said it will take 5-10 business days. It's been a month and still didn't get my money back. Frustrating! I'm so upset how they've been telling Me lies and excuses.

    I had purchased furniture from HBC approximately 3 years ago. One of the sofa's, the frame broke on December 27, 2016. I was told that the framework is under a lifetime warranty and they need to confirm if the legs were as well. (which by the pictures i sent them clearly demonstrates that the legs are part of the framework). Today is January 23, 2017 and I'm still waiting for a solution. Since Dec to now i have made several follow-up calls and constantly getting excuses why this has not been resolved. I"m being told that they need to contact the manufacturer and then they said they contacted the wrong one and that they need to reach out to the buyer to see who the manufacturer is....... This is getting so ridiculous that I don't think i will ever buy furniture from the Bay again!!! I needed a fridge and stove and decided to purchase from another company as i don't have faith if anything goes wrong that the Bay will support their customers.

    Hello , i had a very bad experience today at the bay in upper canada mall. I am a regular customer and i spend a lot of money there weekly. I was approached by Diana and Pamela numerous times asking if we needed help. Me and my brother mentioned that we are ok and that we buy these t shirts all the time so we know our sizes. They repeated to approach us and ask for help. As our stay continued i noticed a tall floor walker run into the under wear section and continuously and uncomfortably stare at us and follow us. The overall experience was very bad as a customer. I dont feel comfortable shopping there anymore which is a shame because before today we were regular customers. Very unsatisfied. I hope this matter can be addressed and that actions will follow to assure we wont have another horrible uncomfortable experience at the bay Newmarket location Thanks Jonathan
